The District is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $189,000 grant from the Bureau of Reclamation’s WaterSMART program. This funding will support the completion of the design phase for the Clements Road Pipeline Project. The project is expected to provide nearly 1,500 acre-feet of in-lieu recharge within the critically overdrafted Eastern San Joaquin Groundwater Subbasin.

Final Initial Study and Final Negative Declaration

The Stockton East Water District (SEWD) is the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Lead Agency for the Fugazi Brothers Pump Turnout Project (Project). SEWD has directed the preparation of an Initial Study (IS) Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) in compliance with CEQA. 

The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters Office has identified an error which affects two contest for Stockton East Water District (SEWD) Directors on the November 8, 2022 General Election ballots.

Stockton East Water District (Stockton East) is pleased to announce our collaboration with San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services, Self-Help Enterprises and Aero Pure Water Hauling to be the first water purveyor in San Joaquin County to provide temporary clean water to rural residents living in San Joaquin County with wells that have gone dry.
