A.    PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND ROLL CALL

Vice President Nakaue called the special meeting to order at 10:17 a.m. and Manager Hopkins led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present at the District were Directors Atkins, Nakaue, Panizza, Sanguinetti and Watkins. Also present was Manager Hopkins, Assistant Manager Vega and Administrative Assistant Rodriguez. Directors Cortopassi and McGurk were absent.

D.    SCHEDULED PRESENTATIONS AND AGENDA ITEMS

1.      Dr. Joe Waidhofer Water Treatment Plant Tour

Manager Hopkins gave a short presentation covering the District's identity, its functions, its formation, the areas it serves, and the purpose behind its existence. Manager Hopkins also discussed the development of new supplies and the sources of the District's water.

Director Panizza mentioned the District also has a Conservation Coordinator, Kristin Coon, who manages the Stockton Area Water Suppliers Education Program (SAWS).

A tour of the water treatment plant was provided by Water Operations Manager Wunderlich following the presentation.
